Spiromatic S Breathing Apparatus

Spiromatic-S is a major upgrade and enhancement to Interspiro's popular and durable Spiromatic model. Its features includs a pivoting harness back plate, buddy breathing hose,dual redundant end of service time (EOST) indicator and integrated PASS alarm. Spiromatic-S features can be simply and economically added to Spiromatic breathing apparatus currently in use through the Q upgrade program.

General
The Spiromatic-S responds to the concerns of fire fighters by providing:

-Ergonomic design with gauge, low air warning and PASS features located on the chest

-Primary low air alarm (EOST) is an audible whistle. The secondary alarm is a visual flashing red LED on the pressure gauge
-Pressure gauge has a luminous face and is equipped with a push button back light feature

First stage regulator
Exceeding NFPA requirements, the first stage regulator delivers:
-High capacity flow rates to over 1350 l/m
-Balancad system
-Rugged design needing minimal service
-Proven pneumatics in use for over 10 years
-Cartridge style first regulator and Iow air warning alarm for easier maintenance and shorter down time

Face Mask and Breathing Valve
Considered the most comfortable on the market, the Spiromatic-S mask features:
-Easy breathing system to minimize breathing effort even during strenuous tasks
-lntegrated ambient air hatch providing fresh air without removing the breathing valve
-Built In safety valve
-Automatic positive pressure with air flows exceeding 300 l/m
-Wide angle vision

Harness and Back PIate
Designed with the user in mind, these unique features greatly enhance comfort and reduce fatigue for the user:
-Easy to use straps and parachute-style shoulder buckles
-Reflective hose enclosures and padded shoulder straps
-New docking mechanism which allows even faster cylinder changes
-Convenient buddy breathing hose solution allows quick connection without lnterrupted breathing
-Both shoulder straps and waist belt pivot individually for ease of
movement and weight distribution
-Ergonomically shaped open backplate for added ventilation
-A selection of light weight composite cylinders to suit variety of tasks
